We sent Carmen to explore Milan Design Week’s exhibition halls, public baths and even an old abattoir to see the innovations designers are presenting for 2023.

The Design Week, also referred to as Salone, is the largest fair of its kind in the world, showcasing the latest and best in furniture, homeware and design from across the globe. Taking place at the enormous Fiera Milano event space, over 2,500 companies are displaying their products.

Milan Design Week includes Salone del Mobile, the large furniture fair around which the rest of the week has grown, located in the Fiera Milano exhibition centre located just outside the city.
